Lovingly run by a professional musician and a
photographer, the Inn is a perfect getaway.
Welcome to our Bed & Breakfast by the Sea!
The Inn at Ferry Landing is a Bed and Breakfast on Deer Isle, Maine, 3 hours north of Portland, and 1 hour southwest of Bar Harbor and Mount Desert Island. Sitting at the former ferry station, the Inn is on the water at the end of a quiet road with views of boats sailing the Eggemoggin Reach (inspiration for songwriter Dan Fogelberg) by and under the nearby 1939 suspension bridge which is now the only one in Maine.
The 1840 farmhouse serves as our home, and we welcome guests as an extension of our large international family.
Each of our three guest rooms in the main house has a private bath and water view. The main house rooms are booked through summer 2024.
Our 2-bedroom attached cottage (“the Mooring”) has separate entrances and full amenities.
NOTE that due to a guest’s medical emergency we have some time in June and July available in The Mooring.
Guests enjoy an undisturbed island atmosphere, a private beach, a wide spectrum of hiking trails, kayaking, famous local crafts, and a variety of local restaurants. Nearby attractions include Acadia National Park (both on Mount Desert Island and Isle au Haut), the villages of Stonington, Blue Hill, Brooklin, and Castine, the Wooden Boat School, and the renowned Haystack International School of Crafts.
We look forward to meeting you!
